Commenting Policy

Comments are, typically allowed on the posts made on this blog. All comments will be moderated though, and I have to manually approve them (this is to avoid spam and trolls). So if you do make a comment, don’t worry if you don’t see it right away; it’s just because I have to go in and hit “approved”.

I do reserve the right to not approve any comments though. To keep things simple, here are a few reasons why your comment might be deleted instead of approved:

  • It contains excessive profanity.
  • It is extremely hateful.
  • It is attacking someone instead of adding to the conversation in any way.
  • It is spammy.
  • You’re being a troll.

So essentially, if you keep your comments civil and level-headed, then I won’t have an issue approving them. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, but I do expect all people sharing their shared or differing opinions to act like mature adults.

Furthermore, some posts will have comments disabled. These are particular posts that I simply don’t want to debate on, nor deal with comments at all. So please, if you see a post like this, respect the fact that you cannot leave feedback, even if you’re in agreeance/support. Because if you go commenting on something else to try and comment on that item, it will also be deleted. It’d be too confusing otherwise, not to mention I’ve disabled the comments for my own reasons.

So there you have it. Happy reading, happy commenting if you so choose. C:
